OUR VERSION OF PERFECTION AND COUNTING
What’s that old saying? First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the baby carriage! For Karly and Brent, getting ready for this third chapter in their love story couldn’t be any more exciting! After meeting each other through Brent’s cousin almost five years ago, the pair tied the knot, and now two years later they’ve got a little one on the way!
When it came time to visit the doctor for their 20-week mark, Karly and Brent could not wait to find out if they were having a little boy or girl. Upon hearing the doctor’s news that they were having a baby boy the couple exchanged a playful high five! Once their little man arrives he will be called Conor Paul Redrow, but until then Brent has been preparing the nursery; painting the walls, assembling the crib and Karly’s been taking on the design end of things; picking out decorations, Joanna Gaines style, and organizing Conor’s clothes.
They’ve both been doing lots of research to ensure they’re completely prepared when the baby arrives! Karly has been reading up on baby blogs while Brent admitted to watching videos on how to change diapers and give little baby baths! But don’t think that their pup, Stella, hasn’t been preparing for her little brother to arrive too! She’s already learned how to kiss Karly’s belly and oftentimes can be found snuggling up to the bump! I don’t know about you, but we cannot wait to see Stella snuggle up with Conor after he is born!
Karly and Brent’s maternity shoot was really special to my heart because they were one of my very first ever clients! Three years ago, they booked an engagement session with me. This past winter I shot their Vow Renewals. And not even six months later, I had the amazing job of photographing their biggest adventure yet... Showcasing little growing Conor! Karly and Brent are not just clients, they are lifelong friends and we have a freakin blast every time I see them for another milestone in their lives together. And can I get a holler for that inground L-shaped-fountain-included beauty of a pool that they gave up a Carribean island trip for this year? I would like to say that it was WELL WORTH IT, guys!
